The M6 in Lancashire has been closed southbound between J32 and J31 close to Preston. That is following a severe street visitors collision.

Expectations from the scene are that police will probably be conducting a collision investigation and the closure is predicted to stay in place for a number of hours. A diversion route has been put in place.
