WestJet on Oct. 31 will launch a nonstop route between Winnipeg Richardson Worldwide Airport and Los Angeles Worldwide Airport, to function on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays, the provider introduced Wednesday. 

The corporate cited leisure enterprise exercise between the 2 locations, noting that the route will “strengthen integral ties and comfort” between Winnipeg’s “increasing tv and movie trade” and the “hub of leisure,” Los Angeles. WestJet additionally has a Delta codeshare partnership on flights to twenty main U.S. cities, reciprocal loyalty rewards and entry to Delta’s LAX Sky Membership lounge for eligible passengers, based on the provider.
