The M5 is closely congested after cows escaped onto the motorway this afternoon (June 24).

Site visitors was initially held in each instructions, between junction 19 and junction 20 for Clevedon.

Footage from motorway cameras are exhibiting stationary visitors alongside the affected stretch.
