Beloved Chinatown eatery Gourmet Dumpling House has introduced that it’s going to shut its doorways after 15 years.

In a post shared by way of Google, the celebrated restaurant mentioned it will be shuttering its Boston location on July 1 “because of the lease time period.” The announcement famous that the restaurant’s Cambridge location will stay open.

“Pricey Beloved Prospects,” the submit reads. “After 15 years in enterprise, because of the lease time period, we’re so sorry to tell you Gourmand Dumpling Home might be closing its operations July 1, 2022. Proprietor Ed Chen opened Gourmand Dumpling Home in 2007, and through the years, the restaurant typically had a line out the door. The eatery, situated at 52 Seaside St., has made common appearances in on-line journey guides and best-of lists, and in 2013 it was included in Travel & Leisure’s record of the very best Chinese language eating places within the US.

“We acquired so emotional once we see so many touching feedback on-line, you’re our households! We are going to miss you!” the Google submit continues.

Gourmand Dumpling Home’s final day might be June 30. The Cambridge location, referred to as Dumpling Home, is situated at 950 Massachusetts Ave.
