A lorry on hearth on the M3 closed two lanes and is inflicting sluggish site visitors in the present day (Thursday, June 16). The incident occurred by Junction 3 close to Lightwater and Bagshot.

Visitors monitor website Inrix reported round 10.25am: ” M3 southbound entry slip highway closed two lanes closed, sluggish site visitors attributable to lorry hearth at J3 A322 (Lightwater / Bagshot). Lanes one and two (of 4) have been closed on the primary carriageway for security.”

A Surrey Fireplace and Rescue spokesperson informed us on the time: “We acquired a name this morning round 10.10am to a report of a hearth on the M3 between Junctions 3 to 4, Lightwater. Two hearth engines had been despatched. A lorry had caught hearth. Crews stay on the scene tackling the fireplace.”
