An accident on the A14 close to Newmarket beforehand precipitated delays as one lane was closed. Three automobiles and a van had been reported to have been concerned within the accident.

The accident occurred this morning (Tuesday, June 14) at 10.33am on the A14 Westbound from J37 A142 Fordham Street (Newmarket/Exning) to J36 A11 (9 Mile Hill). It concerned three automobiles and a van which precipitated one lane to shut and site visitors to construct within the space.

Two folks sustained minor accidents with no critical accidents reported.

In response to the accident, a spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary mentioned: “We had been known as at 10.33am this morning (14 June) to experiences of a 3 car collision on the A14 Westbound close to Swaffham Bulbeck. Police attended and are helping with the autos restoration, two folks sustained minor accidents.”
