‘They waddled past Home Bargains’ – Traffic stops on Festival Park for family of geese

“They’d waddled down previous House Bargains in the direction of McDonald’s once I first noticed them. I joked once I was driving again saying ‘watch them cross the highway’ they usually did!”

Final month StokeonTrentLive reported how motorists have been left horrified after they witnessed a van driver run over three ducklings because the animals crossed the highway on the A34 in Trentham. The Pageant Park driver was happy to see the courtesy proven to the geese this morning. They added: “In 28 years of driving this was a primary! And after seeing the incident with the ducklings at Trentham the opposite week it was beautiful to see drivers stopping.”
