A lorry has overturned on the M20 within the Operation Brock contraflow zone this morning (June 1). It’s inflicting heavy site visitors on the coastbound carriageway between Maidstone and Ashford.

The incident has occurred between junction 8 of the A20 Ashford Highway, at Maidstone Companies and junction 9 Fougeres Means at Ashford. Site visitors monitoring website INRIX says: “Site visitors has been launched in a single lane. The lorry has come to relaxation on its facet inside Operation Brock. The Londonbound facet is unaffected.”

Nationwide Highways has mentioned an air ambulance has been known as to the scene simply earlier than 6am. This has now left and there are delays of round 10 minutes at current. It’s predicted that the highway won’t be cleared till a minimum of 9.30am.
