A12 traffic recap: Road shut near Chelmsford after multi-vehicle crash

The A12 is at present shut heading in direction of London following a significant crash close to the Boreham Interchange this night (Tuesday, Might 31). Eyewitnesses say a number of ambulances are on the scene.

Visitors is at present constructing on the Londonbound carriageway within the lead as much as the accident. Essex County Council has indicated that 5 autos have been concerned within the collision.

Essex Journey Information, run by Essex County Council, tweeted: “A12 Londonbound – ALL TRAFFIC BEING HELD between J20 (Hatfield Peverel/B1137) and J19 (Boreham/A138) following an accident involving 5 autos. Lengthy Delays.”
