Within the second episode of their sequence Block Guides – which you’ll be able to watch above – they take us inside their office to share some insights into what they do.
First Kev confirmed off the audio hut the place every little thing the contestants say will get recorded. That is so it may be mixed with the footage to show it into the present we see on TV.
Inside Teng confirmed off an enormous sound board which he defined is “as high-tech because it will get”.
“There’s like fibre optic cables going throughout for kilometres… nothing goes unheard,” he stated.
Which means the gear captures every little thing occurring in all 5 Block homes, and on the day Kev, Dorian and Teng have been filming their tour the judges have been on set.
The audio gear is so good, the trio heard some cheeky feedback from Shaynna Blaze and Darren Palmer.
“Did you see the Journey Guides guys round right here?” Shaynna requested Darren.
“Sure they’re all nuts. They crashed a Kubota (RTV utility car) as we speak…” he laughed.
“Simply get a licence!” Shaynna stated loudly in order that Kev, Dorian and Teng might hear.

“We heard one thing we should not have heard,” Kev admitted.
Over in Kev’s digicam division, he confirmed off the gear that will get used to seize all of the necessary motion that occurs through the renovations.
“The Block wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for these hardworking cameramen,” Kev stated.
Nonetheless, Kev’s job would not truly contain filming the contestants, his job is to cover small cameras on set to allow them to seize the motion, however viewers cannot see them.
