Kessock Bridge in Inverness closed to traffic due to ‘concerns for a person’

Kessock Bridge has been closed to site visitors in each instructions resulting from ‘considerations for an individual’.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman stated: “Officers have been referred to as to considerations for an individual at Kessock Bridge, Inverness at round 7.20pm on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.

“Emergency companies are in attendance and the bridge is closed in each instructions.”

A motorist has reported seeing police, ambulances and coastguard representatives on the bridge.

Visitors Scotland is advising motorists to make use of various routes.
