Woman realises she’s gay at 35 so ditches husband, home, and job to travel world

With an amazing husband, a lovely residence, and a profitable profession, Lauren Burgess thought she was residing the dream – then she began breaking out in fixed hives resulting from stress.

She struggled to pinpoint the trigger, so started going to remedy to dig a bit deeper.

It was by this that she lastly realised the reality at 35 years previous: she was homosexual, and desperately sad along with her actuality.

So Lauren determined to make a change. Or a number of adjustments.

She stop her job, left her husband, and moved out of her residence so she may journey the world and discover her sexuality.

As of late, at 37, she’s happier than ever.

‘I went travelling in my van for a few weeks and all of it clicked – I realised I used to be homosexual.’

Lauren had ‘experimented’ with ladies throughout her school years, however at all times dismissed this as ‘only a little bit of enjoyable’.

It wasn’t till she began remedy that she realised she was suppressing her true self.

‘All of it made sense.

‘I knew I had to return to my husband and speak about getting a divorce.’

In February 2021, Lauren left her husband, Matt, 40, after 4 years of marriage to journey the West coast of America in a van along with her canine, Ted, a Goldendoodle.

Now she has expanded her travels to Europe exploring cities like Lisbon, London, Paris and Amsterdam – all whereas exploring her sexuality and discovering what actually makes her completely satisfied.
