Sussex travel: Your morning update for Tuesday, August 16

Arundel Highway West in Peacehaven is closed till 7pm on September 8. Diversions in place imply that there are prone to be delays on Telscombe Cliffs Manner and St Peter’s Avenue.

In Eastbourne Hazlewood Avenue might be closed in a single day from 7pm tonight in addition to August 17-18. More information here.

There are yellow warnings for thunderstorms in place throughout Sussex till 11.59pm tonight. The Met Office says: “The place flooding or lightning strikes happen, there’s a likelihood of delays and a few cancellations to coach and bus companies. Spray and sudden flooding may result in troublesome driving situations and a few highway closures.”
