British households have been isolating on the Maritimo Seashore Lodge in Sissi, Crete, with vomiting and diarrhoea. They declare journey companies have continued to ship holidaymakers to the 130-bed four-star lodge.
NHS nurse and mum-of-two Wendy Hampton, 44, from Leigh, Better Manchester, mentioned: “We arrived on Sunday and ate dinner within the restaurant. By Monday we have been all vomiting.”
EasyJet mentioned it was investigating the stories, whereas Jet2 mentioned it was supporting its clients.
The lodge declined to remark.
