Outdoor Recreation Outfitter and Guides Receive $5.6 Million in Funding

Journey Oregon is happy to announce that 166 outfitters and guides have been awarded greater than $5.6 million as a part of the relief funding appropriated from the Oregon Legislature throughout the December 2021 particular session. The one-time program supplied grants to registered outside recreation Oregon resident clothes shop and guides financially impacted by restrictions associated to the COVID-19 pandemic or by service disruptions associated to drought or wildfire.

Residents from 30 Oregon counties have been awarded. 98% of companies awarded sited monetary losses resulting from impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic; moreover, 99% of awardees have been impacted by the cancellation of bookings.
